About Dr. Rosenstein
Founder and Medical Director of Southwest Age Intervention Institute, Jacob Rosenstein, M.D. is a board certified neurosurgeon who revolutionized his own health and wellness several years ago when he noticed he was slowing down due to fatigue and lack of energy. “I personally became a patient of the program offered here at Southwest Age Intervention Institute several years ago,” said Dr. Rosenstein. “I had reached the point where I was feeling what I thought were the inevitable signs of aging and a need to slow down. While I had once been able to easily perform a full day of surgery and patient care, I found that it was becoming much tougher to maintain that pace. As a neurosurgeon, I must be at 100 percent, 100 percent of the time.”
Through a self-crafted, evidence-based program of hormone optimization, nutrition and exercise, Dr. Rosenstein discovered what he believes is the secret to aging. He went from 21 percent body fat to 11 percent body fat in just six months at the age of 50. “I have energy and my mind is no longer in a fog,” he said. “I can exercise and not worry about recovery and fatigue. My normal vigor and vitality returned without my being exhausted at the end of the day. I discovered that aging is inevitable, but HOW you age is not.”
Dr. Rosenstein’s personal success launched the revolutionary program that is today the hallmark of Southwest Age Intervention Institute. In addition to seeing patients at his Arlington, Texas-based Southwest Age Intervention Institute, Dr. Rosenstein is host of the Dr. R. Show, which addresses popular health topics in a weekly TV program covering medical issues with specialists in various fields of medicine. The show airs twice each weekend on KTXD in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
